Chem 112-Today you will do one more in class stoichiometry question, then receive a worksheet with additional practise questions. You will work with partners on an activity that deals with predicting reactions(to get ready for the lab) and stoichiometry. Homework for tonight: Do 1 to 5 from the practise sheet.

Chem 112-Today you completed the work on Law of conservation of Mass. Please do #4,5 from the handout you received on monday.
Today you will do some work with definitions on titration(this is a technique you will learn about for labs and acid/base neutralization reactions) 8.2 then work with lewis dot diagrams. Day 51
Chem 112- Today we worked with titration terminology. I did a homework check on the worksheet and I started Lewis Dot diagrams. You will receive information on the Solvay process assignment on friday. I will explain the lab assignment to you tomorrow.

Chem 112-We will spend some more time on Lewis electron dot diagrams. We will go over one of the five questions from monday, tuesday and wednesdays homework questions. You will work with a partner on the Solvay Process work that leads up to an assignment: Make an information pamphlet on the Solvay Process which informs someone about the Solvay Process and how important it is to every day life. It should be colourful creative, neat and make someone want to read it. Use pictures/ diagrams and show the history, the process and products, byproducts and list references on the back. You may decide to create your pamphlet on the computer. Chem 112-We will do our pre-lab for tomorrow. Please make sure the 10 reactions are ready for tomorrow. You will need to submit them to me to gain entrance to the lab. We will go over titration and how to interpret/ read the buret volume as well as the terminology endpoint, indicator, standard solution and acid base neutralization. P 5 has not got gotten the notes on Law of Conservation Of mass yet.
